🌸 Spring Forward
Renewal, Ritual, and Rest
As the Earth reawakens, spring offers more than flowers and sunshine—it gives us a sacred invitation to pause, reflect, and root deeper into who we are and what we are becoming.
In many cultures, spring is a time of spiritual significance. Ramadan reminds us of discipline, intention, and community care. Passover calls us to remember freedom and resilience. Easter speaks to rebirth and hope after hardship. These moments are not just traditions—they are blueprints for transformation.
At Love Before All, we believe in the healing power of cycles—personal, collective, and seasonal. Just as the soil needs rest before it can bloom, so do we. In our justice work, our caregiving, our movement building, we spend as much time replenishing as we do serving. That’s why we lift up frequent rest, ritual as recalibration, and renewal as a radical act of love.
🌿 Here are three gentle invitations to realign this spring:
Ritualize Your Rest: Whether it's a daily walk, silent prayer, or journaling with tea—let your rest be intentional, sacred, and protected. Tip for success: schedule it at the same time every day.
Release What Keeps you from Dreaming: Write down what you're ready to let go of—self-doubt, overwork, scarcity mindsets—and offer it to the wind, fire, or soil. Tip for success: intentionally identify the actions leading to support release.
Recommit to What Matters: Revisit your values. (Complete this exercise as a prerequisite) Are your days aligned with them? If not, how can this season help you shift? Tip for success: intentionally identify the actions leading to the creation of the life you want to live.
Let us not forget: we are nature. We deserve the same tenderness we offer to the land, the people, and the movements we nurture. Let spring be your permission slip to bloom at your own pace—and to rest without guilt.
